The microphone is powered through USB and features an intergraded 24-bit ADC. This eliminates the need for a pre-amplifier or soundcard. Thanks to the USB Audio class 1 interface, there is driverless support for all major operating systems, such as Windows and Mac, and acoustic measurement software. Each microphone is supplied with a unique calibration file that ensures a flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
