1964 HAGSTROM MODEL I

Also marketed as the Kent I, this was one of Hagstrom’s most distinctive designs!

This vintage 1964 Hagstrom I electric is a unique guitar with excellent playability and classic vintage tone.

These vintage Hagstroms have been played by such greats as Pat Smear of Nirvana and others.

This is a particularly nice example with a straight neck and excellent playability.

This guitar retains its red finish, the back appears to have been repainted red, original pickups, original electronics, original vibrato tailpiece, original tuners, original control assembly, and original Hagstrom metal logo. The desirable “King’s Neck” decal remains present on the back of the headstock, confirming its early Swedish production.

These vintage Swedish Hagstroms have become highly sought after by collectors and players alike for their unique styling, incredible playability, and unmistakable vintage tone.

The original pickups deliver the bright, punchy, unmistakably vintage Hagstrom tone that collectors and recording musicians love.
