1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop – First Year of Production – Investment Grade
Offered for sale is an exceptional 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, from the first year of Gibson Les Paul production.
The 1952 Goldtop represents one of the most historically significant electric guitars ever built. According to historical estimates, only approximately 1,500–1,700 instruments were produced during the inaugural year. As is correct for 1952 production, these guitars were manufactured without serial numbers.
This example remains remarkably original. The electronics have never been modified, the original frets are still in place, and the guitar has never undergone any repairs.
For improved playability, the bridge and tuners were replaced using a fully reversible, non-invasive installation. No additional holes were drilled and no permanent alterations were made. The original bridge and original tuners are included, allowing the instrument to be returned to its factory specification at any time.
Included with the guitar:
* Original Gibson hardshell case
* Original bridge
* Original tuners
* Proof of purchase available for inspection
A superb collector’s instrument with outstanding originality, historical importance, and excellent long-term investment potential. Suitable for the most demanding collectors and vintage guitar enthusiasts.
Available only until August 15.
