Posting my super rare and stunning condition late 70’s Fringe-Tail V1 Rat. You very rarely encounter such well-preserved examples of these elusive, 1st generation Fringe Rats. The pedal sounds absolutely amazing. The casing is in wonderful shape as is the circuit; the original battery clip is in rough shape, though I opted to preserve the original and leave the choice to replace it up to another collector.To be honest, this is an emotional piece for me to list, as it’s both an exceptionally well-preserved piece of history and the best-sounding RAT I’ve ever heard. Here’s a chance to obtain one of the rarest and most worshipped RATs out there, in legitimate collectors’ grade condition. I am in NYC and will always encourage a local pickup or delivery scenario (within reason of course). Assuming we take the shipping route, the pedal will be insured and packed with the utmost care. I am asking that there will be no returns, unless you find something to be not as described. To be clear: it has been babied for decades and works beautifully.
