The Dreadbox x Polyend Medusa is a distinctive desktop hybrid synthesizer and sequencer that brings together analogue weight and digital flexibility in one inspiring instrument. Developed as a collaboration between Dreadbox and Polyend, it combines three analogue oscillators with three digital wavetable oscillators, opening up a wide palette of sounds from warm and raw to sharp and experimental.Its voice architecture includes classic waveforms such as saw, square, triangle, and sine, while the resonant 24 dB filter offers three modes for shaping the sound: 2-pole low-pass, 4-pole low-pass, and high-pass. Five LFOs and five DADSR envelopes provide deep modulation options, making the Medusa equally capable of evolving textures, aggressive sequences, and expressive lead sounds.The built-in hardware sequencer and 256 memory slots for sequences and presets make it a practical tool for both studio production and live performance.
