Overview
The Neumann TLM 67 multipattern condenser microphone drips with vintage tone reminiscent of its namesake, the vintage U 67 tube microphone. The TLM 67 takes the legendary capsule from the U 67 and pairs it with contemporary transformerless electronics which closely emulate the characteristics of the tube/transformer circuit in the vintage mic. The result is nothing short of magic -- the TLM 67 has the size and shimmer of the original microphone without any of the headaches involved with owning a near-priceless vintage mic. Three selectable polar patterns, -10dB pad, and low frequency rolloff make the TLM 67 versatile enough to be used in nearly all recording applications, from the most intimate lead vocal to drum overheads to individual sections of an orchestra or choir.
