About this listing
We have received a Fender Telecaster Deluxe Natural manufactured in 1974, as indicated by its serial number and pot dates. First released around 1973, the Telecaster Deluxe featured distinctive specifications such as two wide-range humbuckers, a large headstock similar to the Stratocaster of that era, and a three-point neck joint equipped with a micro-tilt mechanism. The natural-finish ash body features a contoured back, and the color has faded over time, giving it a vintage-inspired look. The neck is made of one-piece maple and is stamped gTEL-DELX. 73h at the end, confirming it was manufactured in 1973. It is equipped with two gWide Range Humbuckersh developed by Seth Lover, known as the creator of the gPAF.h By utilizing proprietary CuNiFe magnets, these pickups deliver the rich, full-bodied tone characteristic of humbuckers while maintaining the bright, clear sound typical of Fender. The neck pickup has the date g84274,h indicating it was manufactured in 1974; while the date on the bridge pickup is faded and illegible, we have determined it to be original. Some of the pots are partially covered in solder, making certain markings unreadable, but we have determined that they are all original. Front Volume: xx7-7402 Front Tone: 137-7409 Bridge Volume: 13xxxxx Bridge Tone: 1377345 The frets and nut have been replaced, and as a result, the fingerboard surface and the back of the neck have been refinished. There is some lifting and peeling of the finish around the position marks on the fingerboard, resulting in slight unevenness in some areas. Additionally, the four control knobs and the switch tip have been replaced. While there are some signs of wear?such as scratches, dents, and peeling paint?it remains in good condition considering its age. This Telecaster Deluxe offers a vintage-style, crisp tone with just the right amount of power. With the frets and nut having been replaced, itfs in excellent playing condition. Please take this opportunity to consider purchasing it. * Please note that due to the nature of the product, we are unable to transfer it between stores.
