About this listing
PLEASE NOTE: MY STORE IS CLOSED FOR A FEW DAYS. NOTHING WILL SHIP TILL AFTER AUGUST 17, 2026. SORRY FOR THE DELAY. IF THIS PRESENTS ANY PROBLEM, PLEASE DON'T BUY! ANY QUESTIONS, MESSAGE ME. THANKS!Note: See short video in gallery showing how I pack a guitar. I set myself apart with my SETUPS and PACKING. I include setup sheet with each guitar. I suggest buying this quickly. More than one buyer ready to buy it (one bought it already but changed his mind so we canceled) but either way it's rare and won't last...This is a rare 2008 Fender Highway One "Texas Telecaster" in Honey Blonde finish. Only made a few years. You may wait months to see another. Upgraded with Seymour Duncan pickups. This one is priced based on clean condition, rare model, rare color, pickup upgrade, and hard case. Weight = 7lbs, 8oz.FeaturesUnusual features include most notably the 12" radius fingerboard unlike any other Highway One guitars. Also unlike other Highway Ones, these have vintage style tuners, 21 frets, brass barrel saddles, and single-ply 5-screw pickguard. Other features include ash body and '52 spec one-piece neck. (see full Fender specs in gallery). Previous owner installed Duncan STR52-1/STL52-1 (Five Two Lead/Rhythm) pickups. They have cloth wire and CTS pots (see pics).ConditionOverall this is a very clean guitar. No visible dings or scratches. Only imperfection I see are a couple small black dots on back of body (see pics). Frets are narrow jumbo (Dunlop 6105) and though a bit flat on top they have tons of life left. It plays great as is, or you could re-crown if you prefer a rounded fret top.Playability/ToneThe C-shape neck feels good in the hand and the 12" radius board gives it a nice modern feel. Standard Tele controls with some extra umph from the SD pickups. Jumbo frets again tend toward the modern feel. Fender achieved vintage 50s looks/tones crossed with a modern feeling neck on this unique guitar. Comes in a fitted Fender hard case and will be ready to play out of the box with a detailed setup. Thanks!Recent Customer Review:"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. A lot of care and attention was put into the setup (intonation is perfect). Seller was nice enough to include some extras. Excellent seller! Thank you so much!"Guitar SetupSetup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!PackingSearch "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. ThanksInternationalPlease note, on Reverb, I ship to USA and Canada only. On eBay I ship worldwide with eBay International, which has the best pricing. cheersManufacturer InfoGenuine ash body and American manufacturing at a killer price.Designed in Scottsdale, Arizona, and made in Corona, California, the Fender Highway One Texas Telecaster Electric Guitar is a genuine American Tele with a one-piece '52 maple neck with 12" radius, U.S. vintage hardware, jumbo frets, and vintage string-thru-body 3-saddle bridge with brass barrels.
