The BAE 1272 module is a recreation of the classic Neve 1272 line / buss amplifier with ~39dB of gain on a rotary attenuator. It uses the same transformers and construction and can be used as a drop-in replacement in vintage 80 Series Neve consoles. The 1272 can also be used as a mic preamp in many applications, particularly on drums where the loud sound source does not require much gain.
