Artist, musician, songwriter, and producer extraordinaire Butch Walker is a noted gearhead that we've been lucky enough to talk to a few times over the years. Vintage Tannoys are some of the coolest loudspeakers-turned-studio-monitors you can find. Put them together, and you have our Find of the Week.
Walker is parting with his pair of Tannoy SRM 15X speakers. Why? As he writes in the listing, "Well sh*t, I don’t have room for these speakers in my control room and they’re freakin' incredible. Literally the coolest speakers I have owned and I just don’t have the space for them."

The SRM 15X is a dual concentric speaker built by Tannoy in the 1980s. With a 15" drive unit in each cabinet, they're capable of handling 300W apiece, and, thanks to their size, can handle most low frequencies without issue.
In his listing, Walker writes that the Tannoys are "rare to find in this good of condition. Loud and clear, with beautiful looks, and all original components. How does the phrase go? My loss is your gain? Get 'em while the getting is good."
While the listing is marked as Local Pickup Only (located in Nashville), you can in fact arrange shipping with Walker if necessary.
