For sale is a rare vintage CBS Laboratories FM Volumax 4100 1U rack compressor. It's in good shape. Unit powers up and passes signal and has some mods which sound very cool (mods appear to be threshold, tone and the yellow switch appears to effect high-frequency of the tone). There is a bit of noise in the signal path. It has all original caps. We are selling it as-is, not serviced, without warranty or guarantee. It can be serviced for additional cost. Includes XLR in/out pigtails.
