A “connection box” custom made by Wolfgang Neumann ( former founder of SPL ) !
Which means that you have switchable inserts ( or direct outputs ) on all channels! these inserts also all have a separate gain potmeter so you can “drive” your outboard gear as hard as you want, without influencing your mixer-fader-level!
There are many other uses for the switch box, for example you can make it behave as an inline console, or anything you can think of!

There is an NTP VU meter included in the sale, it’s connected to the meter-outputs ( yes, it has that! ) of the mixer, looks VERY cool and works perfectly !

All items have their PSU’s , are working 100% and all D-sub cabling for the connection box is included.

The SPL NEOS was already an incredible product on it‘s own ( the sound is something you have to experience to appreciate it fully, it’s insanely gorgeous and perfect! ) but with the added SPL connection box it steps in a new category! I asked the people at SPL about the carom build, and I got the following reply ;

I talked to Wolfgang Neumann. What he did was a special made expansion unit that makes the NEOS to a In-Line desk. This was a special thing that we can not offer any more. It requires a significant investment of time and money, which we are no longer able to provide. Since this was a special project developed for this two friends —essentially a private initiative—there is no documentation or other records available. All components, such as op-amps and circuits, correspond to the parts and circuits used in the NEOS.
