Up to six levers (one per string) can be mounted to selectively raise or lower notes, allowing for multi-string bends and smooth chord changes similar to a pedal steel.
The integrated capo, which runs in a rail in the aluminum fingerboard, enables free movement in all keys without having to do without the licks and riffs typical of lap and pedal steel, including the open strings. A roller saddle ensures tuning stability, and the Duesenberg Vintage Trouble single-coil pickups deliver a first-class tone with high transparency, fast attack and a rich variety of overtones. The Duesenberg Speed ​​(Tone) Pot, with its short control path of only 70°, allows the filter sounds usual for Lapsteels.
