Source Audio builds boutique guitar pedals like no other. The ZIO preamp/boost is no exception. This "always on" pedal simply makes you sound better, no matter what you play! This fully analog preamp/boost pedal features four distinctive preamp circuits, each with a +20 dB output boost onboard when needed. The ZIO is Source Audio's first all-analog pedal and was designed in collaboration with Christopher Venter, engineer at SHOE Pedals. The ZIO can be used in several ways: use it directly at the front of your amp to color everything that follows, or use it after your overdrive or distortion pedals to sweeten the tone. You can also use the ZIO after your effects chain, acting as a buffer to control the length of your instrument cable. Finally, you can place the ZIO in your effects loop to boost the power section of your tube amp.
