Very Good Plus Condition (About 6 tiny dings on top, moderate scratching to finish on the back along with several dings, 2 repaired top cracks (repaired at Mirabella Guitars 1 8 1/2" and one 3 1/2" both between the bridge and endpin) and some dings and scratches on rims along with some areas of finish crazing.

There are two main reasons to own this guitar. One is that it is historically significant in the development of the electric guitar sense and two, is that it's a great sounding and playing archtop. This is a very early variation of Ken's thoughts on archtop guitar design and construction. Ken Parker is known as one of the great innovators of guitar design. Always forward looking Ken is most widely known as the designer of the Fly one of the truly distinctive guitar designs of the 1990's. I recent years Ken has been more known for his development and construction of Parker archtops which are very distinctive, highly sought after and rather pricey. The guitar we have in stock was made in around 1979 and is one of Mr. Parker's earliest archtops. As far as the history of guitar development is concerned, I believe that this is, or will be, considered an historically important guitar. Built for a local semi-pro player this guitar is of very collectible, but is also a great instrument being quite playable and comfortable as well as having a wonderfully fat and warm jazz tone. This guitar is a great investment that will also give you years of playing enjoyment.
