About this listing
This '72 Thinline Tele was produced by Fender as a reissue in a very limited edition a few years ago. We were able to sell quite a few of them back then – fantastic instruments! The Custom Shop is currently building us six of these models in Pink Paisley and Blue Flower upon request. We ordered them in various aging finishes (one each per color in TCP, Rel, and HRel). The Custom Shop is currently building us some of these models in Pink Paisley and Blue Flower upon request. We ordered them in various aging finishes (one each per color in TCP, Rel, and HRel) and wanted a few minor changes to the specifications. For example, the fretwire (Medium Vintage/47095) is now a bit larger, and the fingerboard radius is currently 9.5". The biflex truss rod was replaced with a '68 version, as was the neck plate (4-hole).Additional Notes: 4 Bolt Neck, Wide Range H/B Neck & Bridge, Rout for Vintage Strat Tremolo, Unfin NB Rel, Blue Flower Paper Guard, Aged Lacquer Top CoatgeneralModel Name: '72 Telecaster® Thinline Heavy RelicModel Number: 923-8013-851Series: Dealer SelectColor: Blue Floral Front&BackWeight: 3206 Gramm (7,06 lb)SNR: R132037Strings: Fender® USA, NPS .010-.046 GaugesbodyBody Material: 2-Piece AshBody Finish: Nitrocellulose Lacquer neckNeck Material: Quartersawn Maple, Dark TintFingerboard: Guitar Cites RW AAA 9 MM, Round LamSorted for dark rosewood: YesNeck Shape: '66s Oval "C"Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm)Number of Frets: 21Fret Size: 47095 Medium VintageNut Material: BoneNut Width:1.650" (42 mm)Neck Plate: 4-Bolt Vintage-StyleNeck Finish: Nitrocellulose LacquerPosition Inlays: Mother of Pearl Dot - 7mmElectricBridge Pickup: Wide-Range CuNiFe HumbuckingNeck Pickup: Wide-Range CuNiFe HumbuckingControls: Master Volume, Master TonePickup Switching: 3-Position BladeHardwareBridge: Custom Shop Vintage Hardtail StratTuning Machines: Schaller® "F"Pickguard: Blue Floral Paper PickguardControl Knobs: Knurled DomeAccessoriesIncluded Accessories: Case, Certificate of Authenticity
