A classic Studer A62 Mono-track tape recorder, released 1965. This is Studers first fully transistorized tape recorder.
Current Condition & Technical Notes:
- Functional Status: The machine is functional and was taken in for service in 2024 (done by Schubert, Stockholm).
- Strobe Roller: Please note that the strobe rollers only function correctly when the machine is operating in a horizontal (laying down) position. When placed vertically, they do not engage properly. Schubert was unable to fix this specific issue.
- Cosmetics: The outer case cover is missing.
- Maintenance: While it functions good as described above, it will likely need another proper calibration to bring it up to its peak performance state.
Due to the heavy weight, please DM me for a estimated shipping cost estimate (domestic or international) before purchasing.
