Lo and behold—what a beauty! It's the Echo Reverb Master!

This spring reverb was produced in the 70s in a rather unusual format by Japanese manufacturer Shin-Ei, that was also responsible for the notorious Uni-Vibe pedal used by Hendrix.

It's sort of a big pedal with a footswitch, but it could be very well a desktop unit.

The design is outstanding – just look at it! – and here it's preserved in amazing conditions, with just minor signs of wear.

The unit has three inputs (Mic Low and High Impedance, Line), one output, two knobs to adjust input volume and one knob to adjust the intensity of the reverb.

But it's not a gritty, vintage sounding reverb—it works great as a dirt box too! I've just tried it with a Strato and pushed the input a bit and it just gives an amazing boost.

Of course you don't have to use it with mic or guitar only, the line level input accepts any kind of signal, so it's very versatile.

The unit for sale is perfectly working, with new filtering caps to improve the S/N ratio, and has been thoroughly cleaned, so it doesn't make any unwanted noises.

It's a 100V Japanese model, so you'll need a step-down transformer in Europe.
