Corsa LCPG #130 - Last of Larry’s LCPGs!!!

For sale is my Corsa LCPG #130, handmade in the USA by Larry Corsa and one of the final LCPGs produced.

The LCPG was Larry Corsa’s interpretation of Peter Green’s legendary 1959 Les Paul, “Greeny”, the guitar later played for decades by Gary Moore and now owned by Kirk Hammett.

Larry Corsa devoted years to studying Greeny and the unique characteristics behind its famous sound, using that knowledge in the development of the LCPG. His goal was not simply to build another Les Paul-style guitar, but to capture the exceptional resonance and unmistakable Peter Green tone. As seen from first hand when he played the instrument.

#130 features Corsa Manalishi pickups, with the characteristic magnetically out-of-phase middle position that produces the hollow, vocal Greeny sound, while the individual neck and bridge positions provide excellent vintage PAF-style tones.

These guitars are also known for their light weight and exceptional acoustic resonance, with high-quality components including Faber hardware.

Another interesting part of Corsa history is the Steve Miller connection. Miller became a fan of Corsa’s guitars and reportedly purchased multiple LCPGs.

LCPG #130 is one of the last examples of the model ever produced, making it a particularly interesting example of Larry Corsa’s work. The guitar itself is also documented in the original Corsa Guitars archive.

A rare opportunity to own one of the final examples of a small-production, American-made guitar built around one of the most legendary Les Paul tones ever recorded.
