- Body: 1 piece, brushed grain, genuine swamp ash. Pistachio color, contours uncolored, Nitrocellulose finish (50/50 semigloss and matte)
- Neck : AAA quartersawn roasted maple, with Wenge fretboard/roasted maple dots , 22 medium stainless steel frets (kind of a smaller end jumbo size) , spokewheel truss rod at the heel, extremely sturdy! "S" at 12th fret, matte Polyurethane finish. TUSQ nut.
- Pickguard/Pickups : 1 piece real Wenge (matching the fretboard), active Seymour Duncan Blackouts humbuckers in nickel, w 9 volt cavity on backside, 1 volume 1 tone, w stainless steel custom fluted knobs!
- Tremolo : Sophia Deluxe 2:22, nickel finish base and stainless steel saddles
- Tuners : Grover deluxe vintage strat-style 6 in line machine tuners, nickel finish
All hardware is matching nickel (not 'chrome') and stainless steel
Pistachio & Chocolate
** You may notice in pictures - the wormholes visible on the bottom edge of the body. These are natural authentic wormholes, likely from the invasive *emerald ash borer bug*... This is feature of some pieces of Swamp Ash (and ash species in general) common these days unfortunately.. Genuine Swamp Ash from North America is increasingly less available, and in my opinion, will not be around for use in guitars within the next 20-30 years... with costs increasing dramatically, and especially larger pieces like 1 piece guitar bodies becoming generally UNAVAILABLE unless from stockpiles gathered over the past decades. This impact is felt in the guitar making world, as swamp ash (different from other ash species) has long been a prized wood for guitars for its unique properties - being lightweight, hard, its tone & resonance, and its beautiful unmistakeable grain.
