This rare instrument guitar is in good/vintage condition. Overal is the lacquer in good shape. No cracks or repairs in the body. A professional luthier did some work on the polish. Neck was reglued too (which has been done with many of these guitars),Hardly visible.
Guitar was signed by Di Giorgio himself, the inkt dissolved, but the imprint is still visible. Action is around 3,5mm at the 12th fret for all strings, room to further lower it.

The Autor (Author) was perhaps the flagship model of the Di Giorgio company for many years, used by many Brazilian artists on their most well known recordings.
This example is from 1972 & shows Horvath tuners from the 1960s. Made from: Top in solid pine, sides in solid rosewood, bottom in laminated rosewood, neck in cedar, fingerboard in Indian ebony, frets in alpaca, golden tuners with octagonal buttons, sole in black lacquer with fillet around the head, easel in rosewood.
