This beauty was built in 2017 as a custom order, finished in Pearl White, which was not a standard Spector finish at the time. The Spector logo features a beautiful abalone shell inlay, making this bass even more distinctive.
The original Spector TonePump electronics sounded absolutely killer, but I later upgraded the bass with a preamp made by Gemitronix, a Hungarian boutique electronics manufacturer -
Its character is reminiscent of the legendary Haz-Lab preamp found in classic Spectors. A photo of the electronics is included in the listing.
The bass is in beautiful overall condition, with only two very small cosmetic imperfections. One is approximately 2 mm and located on the top of the lower horn; the other is approximately 3 mm and located on the back of the body. Both are clearly shown in the attached photos.
Other than these tiny marks, this is a seriously gorgeous instrument — pure American attitude in a Czech-built Spector.
The bass will be carefully packed and shipped in a non-Spector branded hard case, which is included with the purchase.
