In October of 2024, we travelled to Paul Reed Smith Guitars to spend a day in the Private Stock Wood Vault to select wood kits for a handful of exceptional Private Stock builds. This is the second of those builds to arrive to our store. This stunning Private Stock McCarty 594 Semi-Hollow Tremolo features a very clean and bold Curly Maple top finished in Sandstorm Dragon's Breath over a Black Limba body finished in Antique Toner. The highly-figured Curly Maple neck is topped with a dark and rich Brazilian Rosewood fretboard which is adorned with PRS's Original Birds inlay package. We hand-selected these woods to provide an instrument that isn't just stunning in appearance, but also provides a wide breadth of tones and a inviting and rewarding playing experience.
