The "P245," a rare single-cut model that is no longer in production, has finally arrived after a long absence! One of PRSfs signature single-cut models, the P245 Scarlet Red. In addition to its beautiful archtop design and refined playability, this particular instrument is a real gem?featuring extremely high-quality figured maple that rivals a 10Top, despite being a Non-Ten Top. The Scarlet Red finish highlights the three-dimensional grain, revealing rich textures depending on the angle. Featuring a figured maple top, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard, this guitar delivers the balanced tone and high playability characteristic of PRS. The Pattern neck shape offers a grip with just the right thickness and stability, making it suitable for a wide range of players. Equipped with 58/15 pickups, it features a sound that combines vintage-like warmth with modern clarity. The Singlecut design delivers the thick, resonant sustain and rich mid-low frequencies characteristic of the style, making it suitable for a wide range of genres from clean to distorted tones. Additionally, the Piezo Adjustable Stoptail bridge allows this single instrument to cover both electric and acoustic-like sounds, which is a major appeal.
