The Cali76 Stacked Edition is a high-end boutique compressor, handcrafted in England and inspired by the legendary Urei/Universal Audio 1176 studio compressor. Its unique feature is the integration of two independent FET compressors in series, replicating the cascading compression technique used in studios to achieve exceptional sustain while maintaining high transparency. Each stage has its own Attack/Release control, while the In, Out, Dry (parallel compression), and Thru (level sent to the second stage) controls offer extremely precise compression control. Thanks to its Class A 100 % analog circuit, its enormous dynamic range, and ultra-fast response, it can deliver everything from light, studio-style compression to near-infinite sustain, ideal for slide, funk, country, or lead tones.
