About this listing
Up for sale is a handmade, boutique HomeBrew Electronics (HBE) Psilocybe Phaser in Excellent Condition. Crafted in Phoenix, Arizona, during HBE’s acclaimed run under builder Joel Weaver, this analog phase shifter is widely considered a "sleeper" masterpiece of modulation. It delivers exceptionally lush, warm, and highly tweakable vintage liquid tones ranging from subtle 1960s psychedelic swirls to faster, asymmetrical vibrato textures. [1, 2, 3]The pedal is in beautiful shape cosmetically with only minor signs of handling and works flawlessly. It has been fully bench-tested to confirm pristine audio signal transmission, silent switching, and smooth tracking across all control pots. [1, 2]Key Control Highlights:Regen & Speed: Dial in everything from slow, deep Uni-Vibe sweeps to rapid rotary speaker simulations.Shift 1 Toggle: Shifts the frequency filter response. Lets you alternate between a traditional smooth sine wave sweep and a choppy, intense asymmetrical waveform.Rig Integration: Unlike typical phasers that cut lower frequencies, the Psilocybe is famous for retaining 100% of your low-end punch, making it equally phenomenal for both electric guitar and bass guitar setups.True Bypass: Ensures total tonal transparency when the pedal is disengaged.
