About this listing
Made in 1963A model featuring the Les Paul logo engraved on the truss rod cover.Since the name was changed to SG and the specifications were revised in the latter half of 1963, this is the final version of this style. The tremolo unit is officially known as the “Swing Away Pull Sideway,” commonly referred to as the “Sideway Vibrola.”Unlike standard tremolo arms, this mechanism creates tremolo by swinging the strings side to side.Although this unit disappeared from the market after only about two years, it is still installed here in its original condition. The pickups are a numbered humbucker in the neck and a PAF in the bridge. It produces a deep, vintage tone that other replicas cannot replicate. It delivers a superb tone that can only be achieved as the genuine instrument ages over time.We believe that the presence of these two pickups alone demonstrates the value of this guitar. The nut and nylon saddle have been replaced, but the rest of the guitar remains in original condition.Weight: 3.36 kgTranslated with DeepL.com (free version)
