We have received a 1976 ES-175. The Gibson ES-175 is a classic among full-acoustic models. Since its debut in 1949, it has been beloved by countless guitarists over the years and has become synonymous with the full-acoustic model, inspiring many legendary performances. It is characterized by its 16 1/4-inch full-hollow body and the rich, warm sound produced by its humbucker pickups. This particular instrument, manufactured in 1976, features a maple 3-piece neck with a volute and is equipped with numbered pickups. It is in good overall condition; while there is some sun fading, there is no noticeable damage. The pot date on the rear tone pot is 1976; the others are covered and cannot be verified, but we have determined them to be original. It has an additional strap button, about 70% of the frets remain, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
