I’m thinning out my collection, so I’m putting this beautiful Mustang Bass up for sale.Condition & BackgroundThe bass is brand new. It still has the original protective films on the tuners and pickguard, plus all the factory hangtags. This specific model is a limited 75th Anniversary edition, and this classic Sunburst finish is no longer available in stores!The Project That Never WasI originally bought this with a specific project in mind: I wanted to mod it into a Mustang with a Darkstar / Bi-Sonic pickup. To make that happen, I even bought an additional pickguard so I could easily swap between different setups. However, my plans changed, and the bass has just been sitting safely in its case, unused.Why the Vintera I?In my opinion, the Vintera I series Mustangs have a pickup voiced more toward a Precision Bass (punchier mids).
