Vintage cadac G 26 to 16 mixing/recording console.. Great desk amazing mariner input Transformers on the mic and line 16group out 24 tape return full GPO patchbay with all the in and outs and space for lots of oudboard great conectet via mess conectors at the bottom of the desk.. i have used this desk for many years and recorded many great records with it..

these pre amps are up there and are just as good as a neve 1073 they share the same input transformer and the definitely have great mojo.. Let me know iff you have any questions

Rare and well-maintained vintage (1976) Cadac G 26-to-16 recording and mixing console. Fully discrete circuitry.

The Cadac G is known for its high-quality mic and line inputs, featuring Marinair input transformers of the same type used in early Neve consoles. These desks are associated with classic recordings from the era, including Bohemian Rhapsody.

The console offers 16 group outputs, 24 tape returns, a full GPO patchbay, and MESS connectors at the bottom of the desk, providing extensive routing options for outboard equipment and flexible studio integration.

I have happily owned and used this desk for about 20 years, during which it has been carefully maintained and used on many professional recording projects. Due to a move to a smaller space, the console is now for sale.

This is an excellent console for tracking with preamps that share a similar design lineage with early Neve-era British consoles (same transformers as the Neve 1073) which add plenty of mojo to your sound.
