Nanoloop 2.01 Game Boy Advance Synth Sequencer Cartridge

Nanoloop is an 8 track synth/sequencer that runs on the Game Boy Advance and any other GBA compatible device. It packs a lot of power into a tiny box (particularly if you're using a GBA Micro!).
This is one of the original runs of the Nanoloop 2 cartridges, with 2.01 firmware. This version isn't available to buy anymore and is significantly different to more recent versions like 2.7 in that it has 8 channels of sequenced audio, whereas later versions reduced the count to 4 so that more flexibility could be created elsewhere.
Fully tested, works perfectly. Comes with the original (well thumbed) manual.

GBA Micro from the photos isn't included ;-)

- ARR volume envelope for each voice (gate length can be set for each step independently)
- pitch LFO for each voice, ranges from slight detune to odd FM like in old nanoloop

- parameters to edit stepwise: volume, pitch, filter/modulation, gate length, offset, panning
- 716-step loops can be chained together within each track
- song editor with controls for channel volume & filter, allows to arrange the order of the tracks' patterns

- shift loop forwards / backwards stepwise / shuffle randomly
- trigger sounds directly with buttons

Memory
- save up to 128 tracks and 128 projects (project = 8 tracks plus song structure)
- projects / tracks can have names, names can be set manually or randomly
- exchange loops / songs between two nanoloops via cart swapping (nanoloop 2.2 to 2.2 only, doesn't work with older versions)
- flash memory (instead of battery-buffered SRAM)
- hard disk recording: send songdata digitally through the audio output and convert to clean 16-bit wav-file on PC

- sync up to 4 nanoloops via link cable (only up to 150 bpm)
- sync as slave to other MIDI gear via optional MIDI-sync cable (cable for old nanoloop can be used, up to 200 bpm)
