The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster is one of Fender's most iconic signature models, combining classic Stratocaster design with the versatile electronics developed for Eric Clapton. This American-made example from 1998 features a beautiful Olympic White finish that has developed a slightly creamy vintage appearance over the years.
A particularly desirable feature is the original set of three Fender Gold Lace Sensor pickups, used on earlier Clapton Stratocasters before Fender switched to Vintage Noiseless pickups. They deliver clear, dynamic Stratocaster tones with very low noise.
Combined with the active Mid-Boost circuit and TBX Tone Control, this guitar offers an impressive range of sounds, from classic sparkling Stratocaster tones to powerful, mid-focused lead sounds. The vintage-style tremolo is blocked according to Clapton's specifications for improved tuning stability.
Condition:
Very good, well-maintained condition with only minimal signs of use, mainly a few fine micro-scratches. There are no significant dings, dents or noticeable cosmetic imperfections.
The frets are also in very good condition. All electronics, including the active Mid-Boost and TBX Tone Control, work perfectly. The guitar has been carefully checked and professionally set up by us and offers outstanding playability.
