However, it is equipped with a dual diaphragm, which allows for a wider range of polar patterns and makes the microphone a true all-rounder in the studio and on stage. As a matched pair, the set enables high-quality stereo recordings, with microphones matched to each other.What does the sE4400a offer me?The sE4400a offers four different polar patterns - omnidirectional, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-of-eight - a low-cut filter with two selectable operating frequencies (60Hz and 120Hz) and a two-stage switchable pad (-10dB / -20dB). Despite its small dimensions, the housing accommodates a 1" double diaphragm as well as high-quality electronics and switches.Compact and inconspicuousAt less than 1.9cm thick, the sE electronics sE 4400a is extremely thin and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The low-profile, rounded housing design allows the microphone to be mounted close to the guitar cabinet or flat over the drum head. It is equally perfect for vocals or voice over.
