Please look at all the photos. This bass neck has finish separation between the Walnut center strip. The previous owner hit this area with a Sharpie pen on the front and back of the headstock. The sharpie marks are barely visible to the naked eye, but clear with a black light. This is purely a cosmetic issue. It is not a break or crack. The bass plays and sounds amazing. It holds a tune perfectly; w/out any slipping. There is also significant finish loss at the bass of the body. I am really enjoying getting my fretless chops back in shape. I’ve never enjoyed playing Ric guitars and bass’ because of all the clear coat they put on the fretboards. But with a fretless it is a beautiful thing. I have the bass priced accordingly with the cosmetic issues.
