About this listing
We have received a used 2009 Martin CTM 00-21GE, manufactured at the Nazareth, USA factory. This rare custom model was crafted in the style of the vintage 1930s 00-21 Golden Era. The top is made of Sitka spruce, while the sides and back feature Amazon rosewood. The grain of the Amazon rosewood on the back is particularly distinctive and eye-catching. It offers a rich volume that belies its compact 00 size, along with delicate, deep harmonics. It has excellent responsiveness and is well-suited for a wide range of playing styles, from fingerstyle to light strumming. There are pick marks around the soundhole. Otherwise, there are scratches and dents throughout the body, and it shows signs of use. The frets have been leveled, and the current fret height is approximately 70% of the original. The bracing has been re-glued and repaired. String action is approximately 2.6 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and approximately 2.0 mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string. There is slight peeling at the tapered section of the body binding, and there is a slight step on the side of the binding caused by shrinkage. Due to paint degradation on the back of the neck, it feels slightly sticky when held for extended periods. Although there are signs of wear throughout the instrument, such as scratches, dents, and pick marks, it is in good playing condition. Both the appearance and sound are excellent. The simple, elegant look unique to Style21 is also a major appeal. With its classic design that avoids flashy embellishments, this is a guitar that will bring you joy for many years to come. It comes with the original hard case.
