The American Original '60s Jazzmaster combines the supple sound and styling of the original model with modern, smooth playability. The potted Pure Vintage e65 Jazzmaster single-coil pickups featured on this model faithfully reproduce the specifications of the era, from the enamel-coated coil wire to the cross-cover output wire, fiber bobbins, and Alnico 5 magnets. Just as with the original pickups, the pickup pole pieces are flush-mounted. The American Original e60s Jazzmaster also faithfully inherits the Jazzmasterfs unique tone circuit from the original design.Featuring vintage tall frets, the original modelfs body radius, vintage-style hardware including a push-in-arm floating tremolo with locking buttons, a vintage-style hard case, and a lacquer finish that delivers superb tone and exquisite aging, this guitar reflects the iconic specifications of the 1960s model down to the finest details while offering the playability modern players demand. The American Original e60s Jazzmaster is the perfect model for experiencing the performance, styling, and tone of the original Jazzmaster. There are noticeable scratches on the lower back of the body, a dent at the tip of the headstock, numerous fine dents and small paint chips on the body, as well as playing wear and tarnished metal parts?overall, it shows signs of use. The included hard case is warped, making it difficult to open and close the lock on one side. It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival.
