1990s Fender MIJ ST-57 Black Refin
ST-57 action from this early '90s example!
Based off the serial number, this particular example appears to date to 1991-1992 and falls within the often regarded 'MIJ' period of manufacture. This particular example appears to most likely be a ST57-500, composed of a basswood body with bolt-on maple neck. This example started its life in white, but at some stage has evidently been refinished in black poly. Features the typical 'oval' neck profile, as well as a vintage-correct 7.25" fretboard radius. Appears to show the original Japanese STVintage pickups under the hood. Overall a great player with that classic '50s Strat tone!
Cosmetic condition is fair, factoring a comprehensive poly refin. The body shows minor signs of wear in the form of pick marks, minor scratches, and minor dings. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. No gig bag. Includes the tremolo arm.
