I am offering a Gibson Custom Shop '60 Reissue Les Paul Special Singlecut VOS from 2015, a Custom Shop handmade in Nashville (TN), USA, reissue model of the 1960s Gibson Les Paul Special with solid mahogany body (weighing only 3.36kg without weight relief!), set-in mahogany neck with 1959 rounded neck profile and 43 mm nut, bound rosewood fingerboard with classic dot pearl inlays, two hot Gibson USA P-90 soapbar singlecoil pickups, handwired electronics with bumble bee capacitors, high-quality Gibson wraparound bridge, and Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons in a brilliant TV Yellow nitrocellulose high-gloss finish with black pickguard and shiny nickel hardware in excellent condition, including brown Gibson Lifton luxury case, manufacturer's papers, and professional setup with 10-gauge Elixir strings.

The Les Paul Special was introduced in the late 1950s as the “Working Man's Les Paul” – lighter than the Standard, but with the same level of craftsmanship and unbridled energy in its tone. This 2015 reissue model from the Custom Shop perfectly captures its historic DNA: a solid mahogany body without weight relief ensures maximum resonance, while the powerful 1959 rounded neck profile fits comfortably in the hand and conveys a classic vintage feel.

Sonically, this model delivers exactly what you would expect from a Special: the two Gibson USA P-90 Soapbars impress with a raw, biting tone that ranges from throaty clean sounds to woody crunch and fat rock riffs. The dynamics and response are extremely direct, with every nuance of your playing coming through unfiltered. This is supported by hand-wired electronics with Bumble Bee capacitors, which ensure authentic vintage sounds.

Visually, the guitar captivates with its classic TV Yellow high-gloss finish, which subtly reveals the grain of the mahogany and, together with nickel hardware, cream-colored fingerboard binding, and a 4-ply black pickguard, completes the legendary vintage look. The Gibson Custom Shop '60 Les Paul Special Singlecut TV Yellow VOS is no longer manufactured in this form.

This guitar is in excellent condition and technically flawless. Visually, apart from minimal discoloration of the guitar stand on the back, it is practically without any visible wear (see pictures). The frets are immaculate.
