This is a rare Ernie Ball MM bass that is in great condition for its age and displays beautiful finish checking.
It was common in this era for them to use a combination of pre-Ernie Ball parts with new and this bass is a good example of that. The bridge serial# B022854 is pre-EB, but the neck and body date to the Ernie Ball Period. Neck 18 Nov 1985. Body 25 Feb 1986. It also has a 3EQ pre-amp which was not made standard on Sabres until later.
Comes with original case.
I also had the bass registered on the MusicManBass website:
This is also a great resource for information on the history of these instruments. Please let me know if you have any questions.
