The new Epiphone Inspired by Gibson J-200 promises tone and feel in the spirit of Gibson's stalwart classic at a more wallet-friendly price. Features of the J-200 include: a sharp-looking solid figured maple back and sides, solid sitka spruce top for classic "Jumbo" tone, mother of pearl Graduated Crown inlays, a two-piece maple neck with a rounded C profile, gold Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines, a moustache bridge with curved block inlays, and a Fishman Sonicore under-saddle pickup and Sonitone preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
