Offers and orders from outside Canada will not be accepted.Quite suitable for standing drummers playing cocktail kits, the 5000S Sidekick Pedal from DW Drums facilitates upward strikes, and can be used to hit the bottom side of a compatible floor tom. It utilizes a 0.5” rod, roughly the length of a floor-tom leg, that slips into any DWTB12 floor-tom bracket, as well a rope drive which achieves a natural feel. As this is a 5000 series kick drum pedal, all the usual features are present, including Delta Ball-Bearing hinges and a 101 2-Way beater. A Bearing Spring Rocker Assembly is also on hand, mounted to the aforementioned 0.5” rod. If you’re seeking to use this pedal with a PDP kit, the 0.4” version of the rod has been provided.
Rope Drive SystemThis system, which makes the upward stroke possible, creates a direct and smooth relationship with the footboard while preserving flexibility.
