Up for sale is an extremely rare, museum-grade stereo pair of vintage Cadac G-Series (5183) channel strips, custom-racked to perfection.
If you are looking at this listing, you already know what these are. Cadac consoles from the mid-to-late 1970s are legendary British recording desks, built completely by hand with zero compromise on components—often described as the sonic child of a vintage Neve 1073 and a Trident A-Range, but with an even faster transient response and an unmistakable Class-A depth.
🏛️ PROVENANCE & HISTORY
This exact pair was reclaimed from the iconic Stone Castle Studios console in Carimate (Milan, Italy). Stone Castle was Europe’s premier recording complex at the time—frequented by world-class international artists and producers (including George Martin, AC/DC, Paul Young, Fabrizio De André, and many more). These very circuits tracked some of the most famous records in European music history.
