ESP Eclipse I CTM Vintage Black 2011
Hello,
I’m selling my 2011 ESP Eclipse. Last models before switching to the E-II brand.
The ESP are still well finished but not all sound the same way, which is what differentiates above all the custom shop and the Standard line.
This is one of the models in my collection that I will consider "exceptional". Yes, some old ESPs sound good, others really have something extra like this one.
It is light (3.2kg), resonates loudly and has a perfect and lively lutherie.
No wear on the frets, active EMG microphones changed for an effective duo of Di Marzio DP 100 neck and Crunch Lab DP228f with a Petrucci signature bridge and ceramic magnet.
The sound is powerful, very defined but surprisingly crunchy (hence the name of the mic...) and warm with a lot of dynamics. Let it be said, I don’t like the Di Marzio microphones because they sound in my ear Hi-Fi and lack dynamics, but that’s not at all the case here.
- African mahogany handle
- African mahogany body
- Maple table of 15mm
- Ebony fingerboard
- Inlays "MOP" flags
- Upgrade black hardware with Tone pro stainless steel easel and more mechanical Sperzel black
Handle perfectly straight and stable, functional truss rod, low action.
Even on my ENGL Fireball, it sounds super organic thanks to the lightweight and high-quality mahogany it has. Everything works perfectly.
I had Gibby LP Custom that sounded like pie crunches in comparison for a much higher weight...
no exchange, even for a Fender, Gibson, Mayones, Jackson etc...
