On sale this Big Muff with written "made in NYC , USA" under the name . Nowadays they just write "USA" as it is legally problematic for them and the product is no longer fully made in USA . No matter what piece you grab - the big box version is a fuzz/distortion classic , used by many artists (guitarist and bass players) , including :
John Frusciante , Flea Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Jack White (The White Stripes)
Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
Joe Satriani
Matthew Bellamy (Muse)
Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains)
James Shaffer (Korn)
Nick Allbrook (Tame Impala) ... and hundrends more.

Anyway , mine performs well . The package includeds original box , some factory papers and even - this EHX CD-Rom disc . Although I don't have any musical device to check how the CD works .
