For sale JP6 with Piezo option. First generation of Petrucci custom Dimarzios pickups that are very rare and highly collectable.
Guitar plays great and has no functional flaws, but it has suffered in the past, so here is a list of defects:
- cracks in finish on body, on both sides (I don't have explanation how it came to be, it was from previous owner)
- cracks in headstock finish on front - probably caused by overtightening tuning peg screws
- cracks in headstock wood, probably caused by same overtightening. it was repaired, but looks ugly
No impacts on playability or staying in tune. This guitar plays with nice low action, no fret outs or dead spots, tunes great all across the fretboard, frets are smooth.
Tone is very reach, balanced and brilliant for all playing styles. Beast for agressive playing, and soulful cleans for mr nice guy parts.
Its definitely not a case queen , works great as a studio instrument, or road workhorse that you won't mind if it takes additional accidental beating, while stil being top of the line axe.
No case, it can be delivered with gig bag or universal hard case, depending what I have available.
