CHOPPED Original Vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 w/ MIDI for sale.

This is an original vintage Prophet 10 that has been professionally chopped to make it more useful for stage and studio.  This is the PERFECT Prophet 10 for smaller control rooms and touring rigs.  Each individual Prophet 5 module is MIDI controlled and can be separately accessed via MIDI or by the control panel.  A button on the front panel switches the controls from one Prophet module to the other, making editing patches fast and easy.  Also, the two machines can be played together via the same midi channel or separately for two different parts.

This is serial # 0078, which means it is a CEM chip Prophet!!!

The Prophet 10 also comes with the outboard sequencer although I've not been able to locate the ribbon connector for it.  I imagine that Sequential Circuits could fabricate one for you but either way it is included in the sale.

If it matters, this Prophet has been used on countless records by bands like Deerhunter, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Magic Gang, The Big Moon, Childhood and many many others!  For a good idea of what this beast sounds like check out "Monitor" by Childhood.

I'm happy to ship to the Continental USA or offer local pickup. Any other location please reach out to discuss terms.
