Description:

The GR-MEGA is every sound designer's dream, offering virtually limitless possibilities for recording and manipulating samples, even in real time, all supported by an intuitive interface that gives you instant access to complex modulation, slicing, sequencing, and effects functions.

The GR-MEGA is a sample-based device. Record audio using the built-in high-quality inputs, and you're ready to granulate your source samples into countless variations. Everything is possible, from subtle modifications that preserve the essence of the original sample to completely distorted and fragmented manipulation. Imagine the result: thousands of tiny sonic particles (grains) swirling around to reconstruct any sample. Depending on the source sample chosen, the results can be smooth, soothing, and harmonious, but also chaotic, aggressive, and unpredictable, and much more.

The GR-MEGA is a 4-layer multitimbral synthesizer offering massive polyphony and a wide range of sound engines, from a traditional slicing sampler to a spectral phase vocoder and granular synthesis. It can process 128 grains per voice, or up to 10,000 grains simultaneously (models from October 2025 onwards). Playing rich chords to create granular harmonic clouds is a breeze. Just plug in your MIDI keyboards (USB or DIN) and you're good to go! You can also use the built-in chord sequencer.

The GR-MEGA offers high-quality touch controls for almost all of its functions, a scratch-resistant 7-inch screen with adjustable brightness, fast and large internal sample storage, and a wide range of interface options such as high-quality audio inputs, MIDI DIN inputs, outputs and outputs, easy access to USB flash drives and disks, and of course a direct USB C connection to your DAW for MIDI.
