About this listing
Milkman Sound The Amp 50W in White - Excellent Condition w/ Original BoxBuilt to put a genuinely valve-driven front end into a compact, pedalboard-friendly format, the Milkman Sound The Amp is a remarkably versatile little amplifier. A high-voltage 12AX7 Class A preamp is paired with a Class D power section, giving you the response and harmonic character of a valve preamp without the size and weight of a conventional amplifier head. This 50-watt version is finished in White and works equally well as the centrepiece of a compact live rig, a pedalboard amplifier, a recording preamp or a dependable backup amp. It delivers 50 watts into an 8Ω cabinet, increasing to 100 watts at 4Ω, while also supporting 25 watts into 16Ω.There’s a straightforward set of Volume, Treble, Bass and Master controls, along with built-in reverb and tremolo. Both effects have their own onboard footswitches, making it possible to run a surprisingly complete rig without adding much else to the board.Connectivity is another strong point. Alongside the combination 1/4"/Speakon speaker output, The Amp features a balanced XLR line output, headphone output and pedal-level output. It can also be safely operated without a speaker cabinet connected, making it especially useful for recording, silent practice or integrating into a larger pedalboard setup. This example is in Excellent condition, with very little evidence of previous use, and comes complete with its original box.SpecsModel: The AmpFinish: WhitePreamp: High-Voltage 12AX7 Class A Valve PreampPower Amp: Class DOutput: 25W at 16Ω / 50W at 8Ω / 100W at 4ΩControls: Volume, Treble, Bass, Master VolumeEffects: Reverb and TremoloTremolo Controls: Depth and RateSpeaker Output: Combination 1/4" / SpeakonDirect Output: Balanced XLRAdditional Outputs: Headphone and Pedal-Level OutputsPower: Universal IEC, 100–260VACWeight: Approx. 2.5lb / 1.1kgMade In: San Francisco, California, USACondition: ExcellentIncluded: Original BoxThis item is also available to view and try out at our store in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
