Baggs HiFi pickupFor use on stage, the Gibson Songwriter Recording Artist EC is equipped with the L. R. Baggs HiFi pickup system. Two bridge plate sensors detect the fine vibrations of the top particularly sensitively and transmit the characteristic sound of the guitar to the amplifier or PA with impressive clarity and freedom from feedback. In this way, the natural expression of the instrument is also amplified. The sensors are fixed with special adhesive pads and can be removed without leaving any residue on the instrument. A control panel discreetly placed in the sound hole allows direct and intuitive control of the sound. Volume and tone controls allow the sound to be fine-tuned at any time and adapted to any musical situation.
