Drawing inspiration from the legendary Shin-Ei Super Fuzz and Anasounds’ own Feed Me Fuzz, this pedal brings together the raw power of octave fuzz and the rich character of fuzz face style saturation. Unlike many other "dual fuzz" pedals that switch between two circuits, the Bitoun Fuzz blends them together for a seamless and bold fuzz experience. The Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz offers a wide range of sounds, from smooth, warm fuzz to more aggressive, saturated tones. It preserves clarity and definition, even when cranked up to high gain settings. The unique combination of two fuzz circuits allows for a truly dynamic response, making it ideal for everything from psychedelic rock to stoner doom. You’ll hear everything from thick, fuzzy growls to octave enhanced buzzes, with a touch of ring modulation when you dial in the right settings.Playing the Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz feels incredibly responsive and intuitive. The two main controls, Tea for fuzz intensity and Biscuit for tone shaping, are straightforward and user friendly. However, the real fun comes from exploring the five internal potentiometers: Ring_F, Feed, Bias, Fuzz 1, and Fuzz 2. These allow you to fine tune the interaction between the two fuzz circuits, adjust the impedance of your guitar’s signal, and experiment with different textures and sustain. It’s a pedal that encourages creativity, with enough flexibility to inspire new sounds and ways of playing. The circuit design focuses on maintaining clarity and punch while offering plenty of room for experimentation. The use of BC108 silicon transistors ensures smooth, consistent tones, and the combination of silicon and germanium transistors via the Bias control offers a unique tonal range. Whether you’re chasing vintage fuzz tones or looking for something new, the Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz provides endless sonic possibilities. The build quality of the Bitoun Fuzz is as solid as it gets, with a rugged, all metal enclosure that’s built to withstand the rigours of life on the road. The custom graphics, engraved on bamboo and mahogany, add a touch of style while the sleek folded aluminium finish and emerald mirror plexiglass make this pedal a standout on any pedalboard. With its true bypass switching and adjustable LED power indicator, you’ll always know when the pedal is in use and ready to deliver that perfect fuzz sound. In terms of controls and EQ, the Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz offers a broad range of tone shaping options. The main fuzz controls are complemented by the internal settings, which let you dial in everything from tight, defined fuzz to big, fuzzy chaos. It’s easy to integrate into any rig, and its versatility makes it an excellent choice for players who like to experiment with their sound.Whether you’re playing solo or in a full band, the Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz holds its own in the mix. It delivers a sound that cuts through without losing its character, ensuring your fuzz tones stay present and powerful. And with a power consumption of just 4.4mA, it’s an efficient addition to your pedalboard.Handmade in France, the Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz is built to last and backed by quality control checks to ensure it performs at its best. With a 9V DC power supply and true bypass switching, it integrates easily into your signal chain and is ready for any gig or session. If you’re searching for a fuzz pedal that’s powerful, flexible, and packed with personality, the Anasounds Bitoun Fuzz is the perfect tool to unlock new sonic dimensions in your playing. Whether you’re chasing vintage fuzz tones or crafting your own, it’s a must have addition to any pedalboard.CONTROLSFOOTSWITCH: Toggle bypass on and off for easy switching between your fuzz and clean tonesTEA (LEFT KNOB): Control the output volume for a smooth or aggressive fuzzBISCUIT (RIGHT KNOB): Shape your fuzz tone, from subtle warmth to full on intensityRING F (INTERNAL): Adjust the octave fuzz intensity for those classic ringing fuzz soundsFUZZ 2 (INTERNAL): Shape the Super Fuzz side for more gain, or dial back for a cleaner toneFUZZ 1 (INTERNAL): Set the Feed Me fuzz to create a thick, saturated fuzz or subtle crunchLIGHT (INTERNAL): Brightness control to adjust the intensity of the pedal’s power indicator lightBIAS (INTERNAL): Mix silicon and germanium for a smooth sustain or add a little noise for characterFEED (INTERNAL): Adjust the guitar impedance for clearer tone or more fuzzed out soundCOMPONENTS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSHigh quality components for a reliable, consistent tone every time you plug inCarefully selected capacitors and resistors for optimal tone shaping and performancePowered by standard 9V centre negative supplyBattery operation not supportedCurrent Consumption meter readings (mA) by Truetone:7 mA bypass53 mA maximumENCLOSURE DIMENSIONSDepth: 119 mm / 4.7 inWidth: 64 mm / 2.5 inHeight: 43 mm / 1.7 inWEIGHT274 g0.60 lbsOFFICIAL UK DEALERSFX Pedal Planet Limited and FX Pedal Planet Online Store proudly serve as UK dealers for Anasounds effects pedals.
